Why I Started Email An Inmate....
I had a good friend of mine that was incarcerated. On every one of our infrequent phone calls, he asked me to send him a letter. I said I would write and never did. I felt bad that I had not taken the time to write. I am very busy and never found the time. I was always thinking, I wish I could send him an email and that is how I came up with this concept.

Keeping in touch with your incarcerated loved one or friend really does mean the world to them. They are in a very difficult environment. It lets them know that someone is thinking of them and that they are not forgotten. We can help you keep in touch.

As you know, there are only a handful of jails and institutions that allow actual email correspondence. The overwhelming majority of jails, institutions and prisons only allow corresponded delivered by the United States Postal Service or the Canadian Postal Service.
