We here at EmailanInmate.Org will do everything with in our power to make sure your Inmate receives your correspondence.  If the letter is returned due to an issue caused by us we will send a duplicate letter at no additional charge.  If the letter is misplaced or lost by the Postal Service or the Institution itself we will send a duplicate letter at no additional charge.

We will send out a duplicate letter only after being informed by you that your inmate has not received his or her correspondence on or after the eleventh business day.

However, if the letter is returned by the institution because of any of several reasons caused by incorrect information provided by you or content not allowed by institution policy, a duplicate will only be sent at your request and you will be charged the fee for another letter.

We have set up a check list for you to review and agree to, to eliminate any problems of incorrect information and reduce the chance of the letter being returned by the institution.

You must confirm with the institution by phone or correspondence that;

1. The Inmates name you are using is correct and is recognized by the Institution, as inmates are known to use aliases.
2. The Inmates Department of Corrections number is correct and is recognized by the Institution.
3. The Inmate is actually located at the Institution and has not been moved with out your knowledge.
4. The inmate mailing address of the institution is correct.
5. You have given "EmailanInmate.Org" all the information that is needed to be  present on the mailing address for successful delivery of the letter.
6. You have read or have been briefed on the appropriate institution's policy on letter content and agree that your correspondence conforms to that policy, particularly dealing with sexual and criminal content.

You have further confirmed that;

1. The Inmate is allowed to receive mail.
2. The Inmate is not restricted from receiving mail.
